What does the colors on the device mean?

The measuring device has two different lamps that communicate different positions – a led indicator on top of the device to communicate device status, and a lamp inside the device itself. You can read more about what the different colors mean by reading the guide below!

The led indicator on top of the device …

…flashes green

…doesn’t show anything
Mätaren är antingen i viloläge eller används inte alls. Sätt i mätaren i en USB-laddare med den med medföljande kabeln. När mätaren har laddat kan du säkerställa att den fungerar genom denna guide: Hur kontrollerar jag att min mätare fungerar?

… tone between red and orange (only devices delivered after 1 august 2019)
The device is charging! It takes about 2-3 hours for the device to fully charge. When the device is fully charged the color change to green.

… is steady green (only devices delivered after 1 august 2019 )
The device is fully charged.

…flashes white
Only visible in the process of connecting your app to your device. The white flashing is used to confirm that you are connecting to the correct device. Make sure your device is blinking before confirming that Yes, my device is blinking. If it is not your device that is blinking, you are probably connecting to a colleague’s device which is not usually appreciated. 🙂

…flashes blue (only devices delivered after 1 august 2019)
The device needs to be connected to a smartphone via the Linkura app. If this is your first time charging the device, allow it to charge for 2-3 hours and then follow the boot guide in the app. If it’s not the first time you use the device, open the app, select Settings in the main menu, and then click the big blue button at the top that says Troubleshoot with Linus.

…flashes red once and then nothing
This is an indication that the device has lost contact with your body. This can happen when you take of the device or briefly when wearing it. Make sure the device returns to flashing green when you wear it or no heart beats will be registered.

… tones between the rainbow colors ( only devices delivered BEFORE 1 august 2019 )
The device is charging! It takes about 2-3 hours for the device to fully charge. There is now indication when the device is fully charged.

The device is not ready to start measuring because it is not connected to your phone. If it is the first time you charge the device, let it charge for about 2-3 hours and then follow the instructions in the app to connect it. If it is not the first time you use the device, open the app, select Settings in the main menu, and then click the big blue button at the top that says Troubleshoot with Linus.

The indicator within the device …

…flashes red
Should only occur briefly when the device reboots, either manually or automatically.

…shines steady red
The device has encountered a critical fault and is in a protective position. To reboot, open the app and wait for the app and device to connect. Click on the device icon in the upper right corner and then on the button “Restart device”.
